Private Training for Dogs of All Ages
Private
training is advantageous for those with limited time who cannot commit
to a six week class, and for those who prefer to learn how to
train their dog on a more personal basis. The benefit of
in-home training is the one on one attention given to you
and your relationship with your dog. You will learn how to
create a lasting positive bond with your dog by communicating
effectively and teaching basic commands/signals.
Private training is also effective when there are behavioral issues that
are in need of modification, and a class is too distracting for your
dog. Learn how to resolve problem behaviors such as: resource
guarding, house soiling, excessive barking,
separation anxiety, as well as most other challenging behaviors you may be experiencing. Joana teaches you how to modify
your behavior, in order to change your dog's behavior.
In-Home
Puppy Kindergarten Session
An
intensive consultation which covers every question and issue the new
puppy owner may have. This session goes over everything about
living with and training your new puppy: grooming
and nutrition, housebreaking, mouthing, creating boundaries,
communicating effectively, how to establish yourself as an effective
'parent',
understanding basic dog behavior, how to avoid conditioning problem
behaviors, and learning basic commands/signals.
The
Basics Class is a
perfect option once the puppy is old enough to attend.
